Our Executive Team
Robert Hannaford is the Managing Director of Disability Accommodation Australia, RGH Consultants and Hannaford Constructions. Robert is exceptionally skilled in the brokerage of partnerships between the private, NGO and government sectors, to provide tangible and measurable social and economic outcomes. He is passionate about harnessing the goodwill and contributions of business and private sector partners to provide concrete outcomes for individuals and families in need of secure, accessible and affordable accommodation.
Robert is a specialist in accommodation options for people with disabilities who are marginalised. Robert has spent the majority of his career as a Manager of a range of companies in the Not for Profit sector, Community Housing sector and the Building and Construction industry. Robert works closely with Interstate Counterparts giving a national service.
Nikole Giles-Dickinson is the General Manager of Disability Accommodation Australia.
Nikole began her career in Healthcare, specialising in Intensive Care Nursing, and made the move into disability after the introduction of the NDIS scheme. Working in the Barwon Region throughout the initial Victorian NDIS rollout provided Nikole with a unique opportunity to work within the NDIS space far earlier than most.
Nikole brings extensive disability experience, as well as a comprehensive understanding of NDIS framework, and a strong working knowledge of the SDA funding space. Nikole has a well-documented management background, and a unique understanding of the complexities surrounding accommodation in the disability space.
Nikole is a passionate advocate of choice and control and understands the need for participants to have access to appropriate housing options, to maintain independence and the right to live in fit for purpose accommodation that meets the individual’s needs.
